hydro yesterday kidney pain feeling blue

:confused: I had my hydro lots of polyps removed yesterday. I have been having kidney pain and it is getting annoying...like lying down does not make it better and I can feel a drawing sensation when I pee. I called the Drs office and he said to come in on Tues and he'll check it out. I am thinking what can he do? Is this just a normal thing afterthe trauma my bladder has been thru? He removed approx 60 polyps and distende dmy bladder from 100 cc to 500. I am wondering if it is also that I am taking my vicodin as directed every 3-4 hrs or I cant cope.Maybe the tylenol in the vicodin?

I am feeling very blue today. Relieved at the final diagnoses that my bladder is a mess and encouraged by the start of elmiron too. I guess even tho I am relieved I have the dx of ic..I guess I am in pain and reality is set in.
I think too I am sad that my 2 adult kids have not called to see how it went for me.....another sign that people just really dont understand how serious this is....like its some quick day surgery with no repercussions.

I guess I need to go back to bed in hopes that tom . I wont have the torturous pain while voiding. I passed out earlier in my husbands arms while
peeing...was a few mins late taking my meds.

I know everyone is different in their healing...sounds like most of you do pretty well after the hydro. I guess i am not one of them :((( I wish I was. Right now i just feel like sobbing. Bye, Debbie

I'm not surprised you are painful after having all those polyps removed --- plus the distention. Hopefully you'll feel better in a day or two. In the meantime, keep taking your pain meds and rest, rest, rest.

:woohoo: I am feeling better this morning!!!! I can fianly pee with tolerable burning. AND GUESS WHAT????? Last night was the first night EVER EVER that I didn't get up AT ALL to pee!!!! Yipee!!! I guess since pre hydro on Tues I could only hold 100 cc and the hydro expanded it to 500!! I am not running to the potty every 15 mins either! I can go an hour to an hour and a half!!
My urethra is still sore but my bladder is so much soothed. Its amazing what the hydro did ...plus getting rid of 60polyps. Now Its time for the Elmiron to take over. I start it on Mon.
