my back kills me anyone else have this added problem on top of having IC. My back always bothered me but not like this.

yes it hurts me all the time with the bladder as well. hurts the most when walking

Yes! low back pain is a common pain with IC! I often alternate heat with cold...sometimes it is good to use a wash cloth...to help bring that down some. It can also help to sit on a pillow and sleep on a pillow.

Many of us with IC have back pain to go with it, but if it's a "new" pain or a "worsening" pain, you should mention it to your doctor.

I have back pain with my IC as well. There are days when it isn't too bad, but when it is bad it is bad.

Hello all,

Not only do I have back pain but I also have leg pain that makes it hard to walk smetimes. Does anyone else experience this problem as well.

I've always been sent to Physical Therapy when having IC flare ups and back pain.

Yes I Have Always Had Problems With My Back. It Gets Worse Around My Period Time. I Don't Know If You Have Tried This But Thermacare Has These Great Wraps For Your Back. They Work Great All You Do Is Put It Where It Hurts Velcro It And Your Done. It Stays Hot Up To 8 Hours Or I Should Say They Do Not Reccomend You Use It For More Than 8 Hours. I Also Use It For My Bladder To Works Great. But The Only Problem Is Only 2 In A Pack And Cost $7.99.

I have had back and leg pain since I was pregnant with my son 11 years ago, now I wonder if it was the early symptoms of IC. I've had x-rays and an MRI and they didn't find anything, you think it's related to the IC? :hmm:

I have back pain from the IC and leg pain also. It's all the time.
If you stand up and twist around that is exactly where it hurts. In the front the pain starts in abdomen and goes down to my feet. Everyone (doctors) have a different opinion of where it comes from. After 20 years with IC I know it comes from the IC.

Always have (low) back pain. I have noticed that since I have been taking the algonot, that it has eased up a little. When I'm in a flare NOTHING helps.

Yes, the pain was so bad in my lower back and legs that it made it hard to walk. I went to the dr and of course they had no idea what it was - - indicated that it may have been a pinched nerve - I knew that more than likely it was the IC.
