NEW TO BOARD

Hi, my name is Mary and I'm 42 years old. I have had IC for the past 11 years. Been doing the standard stuff, DMSO, Elmiron,etc doing pretty good with it, till last month when I went in for my DMSO treatment. Since then, I have not really been able to go to the bathroom. ( I do trinkle/drip) but thats about all. My doctors don't know whats wrong with me, and all of the test have come back fine. I am scheduled for a urodynamics test this Friday. Know what this is for the most part. What I want to know is will this tell them what is wrong with me?? I am tired of going back and forth to doctors. HELP.

Hi Welcome, I am a medical challange too. I have ic and overactive bladder. I fyou can't uriate, please call your docotor or to the er.They can cath you to get the urine out of you. I have an abnormailite on my left pelvic area and they still don't know what is wrong. I share your frustation. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. Hang in there.There is always hope.
