Hello, it's been a rough week & when the going gets tough, I go to the library!
Found 2 good books, I thought were especially useful & relevant to our lives with IC...
Appetites by Geneen Roth (This book discusses her challenges with illness and following the Candida diet, a diet equally if not more miserable than our own... She says some really helpful things about identity when illness changes our appearance, what we wear, eat ,etc.)
High Energy Habits: The busy person's guide to more energy WITHOUT diets or exercise! by Bill Ford. Some of these strategies are a little difficult to implement when you're super-sick & barely getting by, but for those of us in the don't-feel-great,-but-can-still-function-I-want-my-old-life-and-energy-back range, this book has some really good suggestions & explanations... I rarely want to do the exercises in self-help books, but these make sense & I can tell it's making a difference already:)
Enjoy:)
