This year on my Florida trip (Disney) I remembered to get a medical parking permit. My internist has been wonderful about letting me have these for vacations. I can do just fine without them in my daily life, what a difference it makes on vacation. Last year I didn't get it, big mistake.....by the time you drive to one of the Goliath parking lots at Disney, wait for, then ride the bouncy trolley trains that take you to the front gates, wait in line to get your purse checked, wait in line to get INTO the park, then running (waddling) to the first bathroom (where everyone else who has a full bladder is also waiting) and I can ruin a whole day.

Don't be afraid to ask for these temporary permits if you need one!

Great idea! Sometimes I am tempted to ask my doctor about getting one and using it only when I need to, but so far I haven't. Having one for vacations would be a real help.

i have one i got it last mth. i haven't used it a lot. I didn't know you could get temp. ones that is great.
mine is good for five years.

I think its a great idea to have on a vac. with these ic bladders. hope you have a wonderful trip.

b.t.w. i don't know if this will save you any time or not but i had to get the papers from the highway dept. take them to my doctor to have filled out then back to the highway dept. i got the paper ones to hang on the mirror so if i don't need it i don't have to use it.

also be careful for some reason people like to steal them out of cars. the lady at the highway dept told me that.
