Just thought I'd ask here. I have a lot of different disease and conditions. I have bad insomnia. I tried Ambien for a year, Remeron, and now I'm on trazadone 100mg. I take nulev, librax, atarax, imiprimine, flexeril, elmiron, lorazapam, sulfasalizine, aciphex, ditropan, and hydrocodone. I also take fish oil, malic acid (it is supposed to help with inflammation), a multivitamin, vitamin C with prelief. I need to get some good sleep. It is really messing up my immune system even more than it already is. Just wondering if anyone out there with insomnia too can offer some advice. I will be haing a sleep study done after I get an endoscopy done. Anyways any advice would be appriciated. I see a rheumatologist, urologist, gastronologist, phyciatrist (for the insomnia), and a gynocologist regularly. Thanks - Christina

I use a CD called Healthful Sleep by Belleruth Naparstek. It's a guided meditation/self hypnosis CD. I listen to it when I'm having a bad flare or wake up in the night & can't get back to sleep. I got it on amazon.com for something like $12, I think. Best money I've spent in ages. I've never heard the end of it because by the time I get there, I'm sound asleep.
