My quitting anniversary is August 17 and I'm at 20+ years now. Doesn't it feel good!
You have a right to pat yourself on the back --- I give myself a pat every August.

I am so proud of you...Gypsyjoy :woohoo:
The end of May will be 14 years for both my husband and myself. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but so worth all the misery. Smoking is so not a part of my life any longer that it is hard to remember what it was like when I did smoke. I never want to do that again. :shake: It is such a nasty habit. I can't stand the smell of it on anyone, in a room, or even in the air outside. And to think that I smelled like that for so many years. :loco:

Congratulations and well done. 10years since my last ciggy. Alas, some times I still crave one but at least now its not hard at all to say NO!
My proudest thing is that neither of my children smoke. I'm sure that both my husband and I giving up before they were old enough to notice, has made a difference to their choices.

Good on you! It is now 1 year and 8 months for me. I can not stand to smell cigarettes anymore. I feel so bad now that I made my family put up with the smell for so long. I smoked for over 30 years- started at age 14. I can't omagine starting up again. What a gross, smelly expensive habit. Judith
