Just got off the phone with my hubby in Iraq. He is coming home for his 2 week leave in April. They let the younger enlisted soldiers have first dibs on leave times, and the field grade officers took what was left over. I miss him so much right now with all of these medical issues, it will be nice to just hang out. I know he can't wait to see Lindsey because she changes everyday.
Hugs,
Barb :woohoo:

Thanks everyone for responding. I hope I can have this leg thing addressed before he gets home as well as the cysto/hydro and bladder sling surgery so my pain will be improved and I can walk normally. Right now I'm a leg dragging, blood and tissue in the urine, bladder spasming wreck so if they can get me in quick for the IC stuff that would be wonderful. I know there is one thing he'll be looking for on his leave and I would like to be able to give him that guilt free for him. It's not the only thing he'll be looking for, but well--I just don't want him to think he's killing me either.
Hugs,
Barb

That's wonderful news! :) I hope and pray too that they will get you in to get everything fixed (and I hope the leg thing is just some weird virus or something that will go away and never come back).
Any update on when they will do your surgery? They have been dragging their feet so much on this already grrrr...
Blessings, Lori

Hey Barb-I was just catching up on your recent posts to see how you're doing. I hate to hear about your leg...that is scary I'm sure. Keep us posted on that situation. However----- :woohoo: :) :bunny: I'm really glad to hear Chris is coming home in April. My husband's Commander came by last night, and was just telling us that they will all come home for a 2 week visit sometime during deployment. I didn't know that at first. So I am glad your husband's time to visit has come. He also mentioned what you said about, the younger guys going home first. So he told me my hubby would have to wait too till his younger NCO's had their visits first. Oy vay....I am really having some respect for you, how you are hanging in there with Chris being gone. I can't even handle the shorter deployments right now. :bonk: This Iraq thing is a biggun'. Well enough of my babbling...that's awesome he is coming home. I know you'll be so happy to see him. :grouphug:
