Hydroxyine question please?

does hydroxyzine help with bladder pain. Or does it just help with bladder pressure and urgency symptoms. Also how long before effects are seen? Thank u so much:)

For me, hydroxyzine was truly a gift! In combination with Elmiron, Amitriptyline, and Uridon - I found some relief. I am not sure which drug really helps do what, but until they gave me hydroxyzine, nothing seemed to be working. For me the combination is the important thing!

Oh yes, I have to agree with MamaKay, I too take it in combo with my elmiron and my ditropan, and I believe it's been a huge help. I didn't start the upswing of feeling better until I started that. I had been on ditro first, then elmiron added in and then the hydroxyzine. Then I started noticing feeling better. Not sure how much of that is related to the hydroxyzine alone, since I take the other stuff too, but I feel it's a critical player in the combination. And it's realatively inexpensive, for the generic Vistaril, I pay 21.25 for a 3 month supply. And it helps me sleep, plus with it's anti-anxiety properties, keeps me a calmer person! LOL
