This is day 3 for the 2nd stage interstim and all seems to be going smoothly.
Still painful and sore.

I work out everyday at the gym and I was told that lifting weights and squats, and bending over, aerobics are out of the question for 10-12 weeks. I was shocked to hear this. Part of that is because I am diabetic and heal slower than the average person but also because the interstim has to grow scar tissue around it, and because the lead with the tiny barbs has to remain in place and bending over can move it away from the nerve an cause some trauma. I can return to the treamill in about 3 weeks. I forgot to ask about sit-ups/crunches.
Anyone exercise that has noticed any changes or problems after returning to exercise?

I was advised to take it really easy for the first 3 weeks, after that I could return to normal activities as i felt like it.

I exercised 2 weeks after my implant and now it will me 1 month wednesday on the 16 it was really hard to do crunches and all the pilates work outs but the areobic part and lifting weights wasn't as bad because I wasnt on my back so arobics is actually easier when you feel like exercising do arobics for me it was less stressful on the back.
