Anyone in East Texas?

I am interested in talking to anyone in the East Texas area with IC. I do not know one person in my area that has it except for me and I know there has to be more out there. I'm in Nacogdoches, TX (the oldest town in Texas) and it is pretty small. I haven't been sucessful at finding a support group in my area and am wondering if anyone around this area has heard of Nacogdoches and maybe a support group in my area, (or close to). Even my Uro cannot help me find a support group! So, I figured maybe I could find ICer's in my area on this website that are as frustrated with IC as I am.

I live in Lake Charles, LA which is about 10 mins from the Texas border. I have been unsuccessful in finding a support group in this area also. I know of one around the Slidell area and in the Houston area, but they would both be pretty far for me to go. I know how you feel though, I met only one person in this area (who happens to go to church with me) who has been dealing with IC. Feel free to e-mail me anytime. Good luck!

I am in Jasper, Texas...And you are correct there is no support group of any kind in this area...I have only found one person other that me who has this (my cousin) and we swap stories, but I was only diagnosed last week after 4 years of PAIN and she has only been diagnosed for a year...Let me know if you wanna chat sometime...
