Does anyone else wake up with their heart pounding and their body shaking?
I am ok when I am asleep and then as soon as I wake up, I remember what I have to go thru all day and I feel like I am going crazy. I am on antidepressants and antianxiety meds, but is their anyway to stop this? Should I just accept the fact that I will feel awful all day and only be able to leave the house to bring and pick up my daughtero school? I can't go on this way.

First off what is the antianxiety med your on? Second have you checked for side effects of any of the meds your on? I would check on side effects of your meds especially if this is something that has recently started.

I have to agree, that some of the meds might do that to you. I have the same problem, and I have a condition called SVT. No big deal, I take a pill twice a day to keep my heart rate down. I also am not allowed to have any caffiene (sp?) It might be worth a trip to the doc, those racing moments can be tough.

Absolutely call your doctor. You may be having an adverse reaction to a medication.

I too would suspect the meds. though they might be precscribed for the very symptoms you discuss, it is not unusual for them to have the reverse effect or even a worse exaggeration of your symptoms. There are many to try for the same reasons and the combo might just need changing. Please let your Dr. know your symptoms and see about weaning off if needed and trying a new combo, or at least one at a time. Many of us a very sensitive to this, but with some tweaking, we do find the right solution. Good luck in resolving this.

No I think I came across wrong. It is not from the meds, actually the only thing that stops my heart from pounding is the meds. I guess it is just me, I just can't face what I have to deal with all day and the fact that my life is over and I can't even take my daughter to the park or the library or anything.
