It's come to this. I get to spend my own money for this procedure but refuse to live another year of this flare.

I'm curious if those who have done Botox can go back to a regular diet?

How bad is the recovery fromthe 30 shots?

Sure hope you get the help you need. Sucks when we need to pay our own money in our desperation to find something that helps us. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

Hi Indy!!

Iīm one of those patients that Botox gave my life back again!!

In the begining the injections were every 4 months, but now are every 8 months.

After the surgery, is you donīt have another procedure, like a hydrodistention, you are going to be very well

Botox helps me with my PFD and vulvodynia, and if I can empty my bladder better, belive me, my IC is better too

I donīt have problems with the food, the food I canīt eat NEVER, even after Botox are strawberry and pineapple

Tell us how are you doing, ok???

And good luck!!!!!!!!

HI. I had the Botox yesterday. 300 units all in the bladder. I felt great yesterday but not as good today-I have been peeing a lot probably from the IV fluids.

I haven't needed pain killers. I heard it can take a few days to kick in and the procedure was 30 shots and urethra stretching so I am hopeful.

I'll let you all know.

I start my mold detox in 2 weeks after the Botox kicks in to cover the pain.

Hi.

Can one of you guys tell me how long the retention lasts. I am struggling to empty my bladder and it never really feels empty.

I am starting to freak that the surgery isn't working!

Please give me some hope.
