I have developed a sinus infection..I would assume they won't knock you out if you're sick..anyone know? I am so upset about the wonderful timing..
I am hoping to get to urgent care today and get anti-biotics..
Anyone know? TIA.
One sad lady..

I'm sorry you are feeling sick, I hope you get better soon. I just don't know what advice to give regarding the procedure...I think it's probably best just to call your doctors if you have a number and ask....

Wishing you the best,
Blessings, Lori

I wouldn't freak out just yet. If it does just involve your sinuses and you come with 2 days worth of antibiotics, you should be ok. Of course, the anesthesiologist gives the yes or no. In my experience as long as you do not have a fever, shortness of breath, or adventitious(different)breath sounds most will drive on. I hope you feel better with those nasty sinuses. They sure can make life miserable.

You really should contact your urologist and ask. How long before your procedure is scheduled?

Oh, I hate sinus infections!! I hope you feel better soon. :grouphug:

Donna's right, call your uro and double check, but they may well go ahead with the cysto/hydro.

I had the same thing before my cysto/hydro last Friday. When I called to tell them, they said they would go ahead as long as I was not running a fever, or having trouble breathing on the day of the procedure. I had the cysto/hydro on Friday and everything went fine. Just check w/ them tomorrow.

Wishing you luck tomorrow, and glad you're able to have the procedure as planned. One less thing to worry about, right? Take care of yourself, and I will say an extra prayer for success tomrrrow.

Hugs,
