We had decided to get the baby a Brittany spaniel for his first birthday, and to help fill the void when our 13 year old golden passes, he has nose cancer and a stroke and just not up to par. We had planned for summer but talked to the breeder and he has a female with a small naval hernia that he will sell us for $500 instead of the $650 he usually charges to cover the repair of her hernia. i am waiting to talk to the vet to see what this is and how minor or major this really is, and if it can wait for repait until she is old enough to be spayed and do it all at once. i really hat ethe thoughts of 4 dogs right now, especially with the older one needing more attention then the baby actually does. Will keep you posted.
