I would like to apologize to those who read and found my post offensive. Titled "feeling great," I made some comments about people feeling sorry for themselves about there pain. I know there are some memebers hear that have the worse kind of IC, and I would like to say that I did erase the post. I hope you forgive me, and that will never happen again.

You're forgiven here too...sometimes its hard to contain your joy at actually feeling ok and people are already sensitive because they are continuing to travel the rocky road. Keep on posting girlfriend!

(((Jenny))),
I didn't see your post, but even if I had, it would not have offended me personally...we run through a host of emotions with this disease and sometimes, I too think of folks with way more to deal with and with many other diagnoses...I am sure no one took offense and if you made the point that we can't be our pain and nothing else, that's not so far off...I was so caught up in the pain when first dxd, I couldn't see the forest through the trees. By the time I found the ICN, I had 18 months of working through a lot of emotions. I have days where pain rules, but luckily I now have more that don't.

I know you feel badly right now, I do hope you will take these responses as sincere and throw out that "icky" feeling with the bathwater...I am sure your posts are supportive and plenty here need all the encouragement they can get....keep 'em coming! :) No harm, no foul! :kissing:

Thank you everyone! I'm not going to lose sleep over that statement, but I will think before I say or write something.

Nonny,

I didn't see the post either, but completely understand how you feel. I sometimes feel guilty for "whining" about a two or three day flare when so many others are in agony for weeks and months on end. Don't feel bad for feeling good, we need to hear about the good days too!

We can't always know what might offend someone, we just have to do our best to be considerate... and if we fail, we hope that we are forgiven. I for one am constantly being offered a glass of water to wash down my foot...

I've found EVERYONE here to be WONDERFUL! So- let it go girlfriend, it sounds like everyone else already has! :grouphug:

I wish urologists would "think" before they said something.

No problems here, Jenny. Thanks for the apology though and keep on posting! As said in an earlier post, I'm just glad you are feeling better.
