Hi,
I was just wondering whether a TENS machine can be used for urinary frequency/urgency. Would appreciate any thoughts.
Cheers

I just started using a TENS unit. I use it for pain but I don't see why it couldn't help with freq/urg. I get botox injections to help with that but everyone has different treatment options that work for them.

George,
I am not sure if it would help frequency.. I just use it for pain especially when my lower back is bad along with the bladder..But you never know it just might work.. Good luck

Hi:
I use this for frequency sometimes. It does help quite a bit when I am at work. I take oxycontin for pain mgmt, but can't take any anti-frequency drugs due to severe retention problems.

I used TENS for two years to help with frequency. It really helped things. I just got allergic to the electrode sticky pads & had to quit. Take good care of your skin.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to hire a TENS unit.
Can I ask a stupid question? Where abouts would I place the electrodes?
Thanks

Mine were suprapubic & inside of the left calf. I have previous posts with more details, if you search.
