Fibromyalgia

Hi Everyone,
Im fairly new to the list and have had IC since 1998.My whold body aches and I have been reading some of the posts about Fibro. What kind of doctor would you go to if you suspected you had Fibro? My back and legs and knees just hurt all the time.

:hi: and :welcome: to the ICN. I don't have Fibro but my neighbor/best friend does. she see a pain clinic that gives her pain medicine and she has to learn yoga in order to treat her pain.
Her doctor told her its something she will have to learn to live with that pain medicine does very little or will ware off. I feel so sorry for her.
I also have a few friends here that has it they also say its very painful.
Other will soon be by and if they have fibro they will be able to help you more.
The only thing I can tell you is what I have heard not what i know that is a fact.

My doctor referred me to a rhemotologist .
