I experience pain when voiding. I can go 20 times in one day and the pain is never consistant. One time it is manageable and then 15 minutes later I feel like I'm going to pass out the pain is so bad. In a nut shell it is up and down like a hookers skirt.
Does anyone else experience this ?

Yes, I will get server pain with voiding, I will get it without voiding also but voiding will make it worse, I have had it so bad my ears clocked and it sounded like I was underwater. I had that feeling of passing out and remember thinking wow I haven't passed out yet when I knew for sure I was going to.
I have passed out before but not from bladder pain. So I do know the exact feeling. My pain will go from my belly button to my pee hole. hurts really bad.
I don't know were to begin to explain it, maybe a Charlie horse in my bladder with cuts and lemon juice mixed with salt. While the same time it feels like there is string from my belly button down that someone is pulling and twisting. the last time this happened I had the pain all day extremely bad.
Thats when I realized pineapple was not the best thing to eat. Did not know it would effect me like that and now I do.
Most day's I do not know what causes the pain to come.

Actually... we need ALOT more information to respond to this clearly.
Is the pain worse BEFORE, DURING or AFTER URINATION?
Is it relieved by urination... if not just for 5 minutes
Is it worse with you consuming various foods???
Sparkle... you and I share something similar... that whole belly button line to the urethra connection which, when my IC pain was at its worst, I also felt.
Remember, though, that the great majority of pain in IC... especially if you experience pain as your bladder is filling is simply from diet... and you putting acid on the wounds/injuries in your bladder. Diet modification is the absolute foundation for success. Even one cup of coffee or a soda or a multivitamin could easily account for the pain and discomfort you're feeling.
