Urine Crystals question

Are urine crystals an indication of IC?I ddont remember reading that anyone had or has them. Does anyone know what causes them?It showed up on my urine test with mucus and some trace blood. My GP said I need to drink more water or I'll get stones. One week later I didnt have them.Im drinking 50 ounces of water and not eating very much. Just vegetables or baked potatoes.

I had bladder stones 6 months after my son (my first child) was born. I had a severe case. they did eventually disolve and come out on their own. the pain was so bad... I drink alot of water and haven't had them since.
