Here it is the fourth week of our challenge! Last week was four out of the seven days so not quite as good but not bad either. I managed three days of cardio and one day of weights. I don't think I have lost any weight because none of my clothes are looser but I do feel better. I actually slept the whole night last night! A major accomplishment as I have not done that in nine months. No exercise today as my assistant is out with the flu and I had to get to work bright and earlier this AM. How about everyone else, are there still any challengers left? Chime in with your thoughts!

:( Hello everyone,
I would love to exercise but it seems that I have no energy or motivation for some reason. I always find it hard to get out of bed I usually sleep until I have to get up and go to work and I don't like that I get very little time with my family this way. I am by nomeans overweight but I need to tone up I have had 2 kids. Does anybody know of anything that is inexensive that might work to get me motivated and ready to get up on the morning? I don't want to spend the rest of my life missing out on my husband and kids lives. I want to be able to get up and play with them but I NEED ENERGY and it makes me depressed to be like this. PLEASE HELP!

Thank you,
Lisa

It can be real hard to get and stay motivated to exercise. It is especially difficult when you are not feeling well. I personally own many exercise tapes that I can easily do from home. There are excellent beginner tapes that you can do in your own living room that are inexpensive. There are tapes that feature walking in place with various other moves thrown in and then there are low impact tapes that offer maybe a bit more variety. You can check out http://www.videofitness.com/ for many good ideas on videos that may be right for you. Walmart and Zellars have a great selection of workout videos at a good price. Start slowly and work your way up to longer intervals of exercise. Maybe set your alarm fifteen minutes earlier then usual and give yourself that time to exercise. Many people on this site use yoga tapes as a way to exercise and stretch their muscles. You must remember that exercise is a gift you give yourself. It makes you feel and look better and it gives you a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. Something you have control of! Good Luck!
