Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share my story on PT. I started having physical therapy for pelvic floor function and vulvodynia. It has helped alot! My muscles must have been in terrible shape. She also does an ultrasound with heat over my abdomen and vulva. I'll admit that it was wierd at first, but it really has helped more than anything. I thank God for sending her my way. I am so thankful for the relief in pain.

I'm glad the PT is helping you!!! :) What kind of PT are you doing? I recently started PT also, and my PT is doing biofeedback and trigger point release (I think that's what it is called). The trigger point release seems to help me more than the biofeedback, but the pain relief doesn't last long. Take care and I hope you have continued improvement.

I start PT on Thursday and have an estim unit on order. Hopefully, it will be here before Thu. She wants me to do the biofeedback at home also. Do either of you have the estim therapy and use it at home? Results?

Hi, I also was helped a lot by pelvic floor therapy and the biofeedback did help me to see what was going on with my pelvic muscles. Hope it continues to help you, I know I feel much better now having done the therapy. Good luck and best wishes, Iris. :) :flower:
