I am not sure what to do now except wait. I went to dermatologist for a path report after having alarge mole removed from my right leg. 6 weeks later I got results its stage II MELONOMA . He suggested a plastic surgeon to take 3 more inches off area and make sure its not spreading. Said he would my MD first thing WED morning. I asked if I dont hear from anyone should I call he said yes definately. I called yesterday thinking how strange my MD always calls me enless shes away. I spoke to a wonderful receptionist she said they have no documentation that he called and no path report but my doctor was away till Monday so they could ask her. She left Friday. She asked if I was ok I said yes just frustrated. The whole insurance thing you need a referral. She said it would be a high priority message and I would get a call back Monday (which is my cysto/hydro). Then I call my dematologist office ask if he did call? They said hes gone for the whole week but they would pull my chart and have a nurse call me back. No call back as of yet so I will have to call again Monday. How very stressful..
