I was diagnosed with ic nearly three years ago and it has progessively has been getting worse (from a grade 2 to now the worst a grade 3) I have often come to this website for info, but just a few days ago came onto the message board. I was very excited to see the 'canada' section, but even more thrilled to see that Brenda M is from Kamloops, BC-as that is were I live! I used to feel as if I was the only one out there! I look foward to coming onto the message board daily. Thank you everyone! Here's to a healthy and happy new year! angel

I'm glad you posted --- and I hope you will feel better soon. I have read that in come cases IC can progress for up to the first five years before it levels off and doesn't get worse. In my case, my worst time was before diagnosis.
You might also want to post on the Canadian site at http://www.canadaic.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi You may find even more people near you.
And, of course you are always welcome here too.
Warm hugs,
Donna
