breast pain

Does anyone else have pain in the breasts? I was told after a mamogram and an ultrasound that I had a complex cyst in my left breast which the doctor wants to drain and send to the lab.
I told him about my IC and he suggested asking you guys if it might be related. (this was a general surgeon who didn't seem to know about IC)
I've asked my Urogyn about it, but he seems to think it's minor compared to my other problems. I think it it's a problem when something hurts that bad. I've been alternating my heating pad between my stomach and my chest every 15- 20 min., which the GS. said was actually what he would have told me to do anyway. :)
I go for the procedure March 22, so until then, I'm still looking for answers to link this to the IC and the Pelvic Congestive Syndrome.
Any help would be great.

Hi-
I have fibro-cystic breasts and they sure do get sore at times. I also have calcification.. I have had one cyst drained.. and just recently had to have a guided biopsy.. I have to have another mammo in 6 months..
I have never even thought about it being related to IC..
For cysty breast pain I was told to stay away from Chocolate. cheese and anything with caffine..

Thanks for your response. My doctor said to stay away from caffeine too. I let him know that I haven't had any since Nov when I was first told I may have IC and given the "diet".
