I was wondering about what vitamin I could take which would not cause a flare. I am afraid I do not get enough vit. c. maybe a kids vitamin or buffered vitamins? Anyone tried anything you could let me know about?

Some ICers find they can take children's chewable vitamins.

When I was diagnosed last year, I took ALL my vitamins separately, including a gentle Ester C. Someone on the boards suggested a multivitamin with biflavanoids and also a buffered C in it. They are made by USANA. I have been using them for about 5 months now and have had no ill effects from them. liz

I take a multivitamin from the health food store. It's Women's One Daily by MegaFood. I started by taking half a vitamin and now I take a whole. Haven't had a problem with it. :woohoo: They are a bit pricey, $27 for 60 pills but it gives me peace of mind that I'm getting what I need considering our limited diet.

Hope you find something that works. :)
