Chemotherapy and IC

Has anyone ever heard of a connection between chemotherapy and IC? I am a breast cancer survivor and went through 6 months of chemo, and 3 months of radiation. My IC started probably a year after my treatment ended. I've had bladder infections all my life, but wondered it there could be a connection to the chemo???? Anyone else been through chemo then got IC?

While I have never had chemo myself, I have administered it so many times I've lost count. I got chemo certified at UCLA and learned sooo much. I would bring this up to your doc(sooner rather than later)because it makes sense that the fact that chemo drugs could precipitate something, especially since they kill off good cells too. Just my humble opinion.
