I am having aproblem with the sticky part its gel like and melts my insurance company will only cover 2 sets a month. The place I got the unit from cant figure out who to call for questions nor does my unit have a contact # or address. So we have had to tape them on with medical tape. My pt is not sure either. I have never seen so many people not know how to get the answer or who to contact.

Hi
In Canada you can buy little square tape things that you put over the pad You remove a backing and then stick it on...It is larger then the pad and that is the part that stick to skin...They come in packs of 100 for a round $25. You still have to use the conductor gel. I got mine at the Pharmacy

are good.
my unit was $1400 from www.empi.com, though.
i stick them on a plastic card when they are not in use.
do you have your machine turned up too high?
hmmm...
sounds like a lot of you are having the same problem.
how much are your machines?
i think the $100 machines are not as good. maybe....
sorry kelly!
hope you find a solution.

mine is not set high at all. I got the square patches today that go over the pads. Not sure what the gel is I will ask next month when I go to get more pads.
Thanks everyone,
Kelly
