getting tens unit

I am getting my tens unit tomorrow...can't wait. After two weeks of pt..I feel much better. So glad I did that, and with the tens unit I am hoping to have continued relief.

I like my TENS unit a lot... use it fairly frequently. I get relief from it and it decreases my need for narcotic breakthrough meds during flares. Good luck with yours :)

does it work for pain or frequency / My daughter has no problems with her urine frewuency just constant hip,back pain and cramping...the dr says its from her PFD not her bladder IC ...thinking about pursuing a TENS unit for her...???

my tens/if unit helps with pain and spasms. i have pain in my abs, hips, back, etc...
while i wear the unit, i don't drink as much water. i just sit and relax, so i think it can help with frequency and urgency, in my opinion.

i turn it off when i go to the :toilet: .

sometimes i pull the cords out of the little machine so i don't lose it in the :toilet:.
