WEEK 3 and wonderful results

Hi all, this is week 3 of my permanent implant and I am doing wonderful with the urgency/frequency. I have went from 10 times at night to 2, and about once an hour instead of 3-4 times an hour.I still have severe pain which I knew it would do nothing for, but it is so much easier to tolerate with the urgen/freq issue under control. I think having a well trained physician has made this such a easy experience. Nothing what I expected. Thanks for all the support Brat, you really did make this a alot less stressful decision for me to make. One I am so thankful i took a chance on.

Hi, Leslie, this is great news, thanks for letting us know! I am so happy to hear that it's helped you so much, and that the process hasn't been as bad as what you thought it might be. (I hope it was bearable!)

I'm sorry that you do still have pain (I always hope for a miracle, I know interstim is not for pain but you know, a person always hopes...) but I hope that you'll be able to get the pain under control just like the urgency/frequency is under control.

I feel the same way you do, I'm not sure what part of my IC is pain and which part is just the urgency/frequency (I think I have mostly just urgency/frequency) but I feel like if I could just get the urgency/frequency under control, the rest of it would sure be a whole lot easier to deal with.

I'm so glad that this has turned out very well for you! It's wonderful to hear a success story. I hope it always works well for you like this.

Not being in the bathroom so much is great..now I am dealing with seperation anxiety with my potty :confused: :biglaugh: I am starting to come to piece with my IC now that a part of it is controlled. Never thought I would say that.
