Noticed a big improvement with Pt

I started pt two weeks ago. I have noticed a big improvement. The physical therpist ordered me a tens unit today, I am excited about that. I feel so strange...I have had so much pain for so long, I don't know how to act getting such relief. How long will it last? Friday for the first time in forever I felt no pain, and to tell you the truth it felt so weird. I didn't know one day with out pain would feel soooooooo good!!! I am just overwhelmed, I am hoping for even more relief as I progress in the pt. But I must admit, I am proceding with caution, holding by breath....thinking about the severe pain returning. But I am so grateful to have some RELIEF!!!

glad to hear you got some relief. I just started using my tens unit yesterday it made a difference for me hope it helps you

where do you put the tens unit?

It goes on my ab surrounding my bladder.

Do you have PFD and IC and is yournpain from IC or PFD ? Does a doctor have to prescribe a TENS unit or can you get one anywhere ??

Hi Michele, I have both pfd and ic. The pt called the doctor and he wrote the prisciption for the tens unit. I have had pain for so long, I think it is both.
