How long should you wait to get another hydro?

After having my second hydrodistentions in October of last year I have noticed that they seem to work for me. It doesn't help with the burning but the frequency/urgency, this is because my bladder tends to shrink so the hydro blows it up again.
Anywho, when would it be safe to have another one? And does it cause damage to use them as a treatment?

I've had either 37 or 38 hydrodistentions over the past 30 years and so far it works. And so far no known damage caused by them. The way I know when to have one is that the pain gets bad and my usual remedies don't work. I had my last on in July 2004 and am hoping I can last until spring.
