Do any of you have alot of bloating and pressure in your stomach? I look like I'm 4 months pregnant ALL the time. Feel like I've ate a 10 course meal 24/7/365. In the mornings my cat sits and listens to my stomach it is gurgling so much. Very uncomfortable and then causes even more lower back pain.

I watch what I get, stay away from gassy foods, drink lots of water. My bowels are sluggish (which adds to the bloat and pressure) so I know that is part of it. I have gained as high as 7lbs overnight and not eat a thing.

I also have periods where my stomach is VERY sensitive. What goes down, must come up. :toilet: When my IC first started I vomited all the time, nothing stayed down. This went on for a good two years. It leveled out and now is a "come and go" thing but have noticed for last couple of months now becoming more constant.

Any ideas ?

This is something you should discuss with your physician. Vomiting is not normal.

I do have alot of stomach issues and many symptoms you described so far just GERD has been diagnosed. I would talk to your doctor and let them know whats going on.

GERD is acid reflux. I only throw up when I am in a great deal of pain, but I always have the tender-to-touch bloat. I agree, though, give your doctor a call, to be on the safe side.

I also suffer from "bulging belly" syndrome:( I actually had a check-out girl ask me when my "baby" was due. Like you I also have IBS together with the IC. I've found that Beano helps control a lot of the gas after meals, but nothing so far has helped the pressure and bloating. Have not thrown up, except when taking pain meds on an empty tummy (a big NO NO). I have noticed that there's certain foods I definitely have to stay away from - fruit, veggies, beans - all the things I really like that are good for me. As a result I take lots of supplements to make up for the dietary restrictions. I was a size 6 when I was diagnosed with IC and am now up to a size 14 - yuck!! Anything I wear around my waist has to have elastic in it. I wonder if anyone has ever found a good support type of underwear that's not too uncomfortable for IC patients to wear. I hope your doctor finds an answer for you.
