After a year or more of recurring UTIs and loads of nasty A/Bs i got clear in Aug last year!! ( didnt have sex) till last week and Yep!! within 24 hours full blown painful infection!! so i guess my only cure is to refrain from sex full stop!! my marrige may possible go through the roof but i am beginning to feel that its just not worth the pain afterwards so i may have to try again with my gp to get HELP!!!

we have done the ususal ie:wsh before after/pee after/lubricant/condoms/ect ect ect!!

Why does loving my husband make me ILL!!

Have you ever tried taking one antibiotic pill after intercourse? I was getting 4 to 5 infections a year and in March of 2004 my doc gave me a script for Levaquin. I take one pill after intercourse and I have not had another UTI yet!!!! It's been nearly a year. I think it is worth looking into. :)

I may try it but, i think in uk its called Levofluoxsin!! i thought A/Bs need 24hrs to get into the system??

YES! I sure can relate. I'm not doing well emotionally with the Sex thing! I have no interest, I fake interest so as not to hurt my husband, and I'm sick of it!! I really don't want to spend the rest of my life without desire!
