are there any drug interactions with cysta q?

Hi all. I just got ordered some cysta q, which I havent tried yet. It has a lot of herbs in it, and Im wondering if these might interact with other drugs Im taking. Im taking melatonin at night to help me sleep and ortho tricyclin lo for birth control pills. anyone know where i could find out if its ok to take the cysta q along with these other things? thanks for your help.

You can try going to http://www.drugs.com. Also, I think drkoop.com has one too. Anyway, you can type in everything you are taking, including herbs and supplements, and it will alert you to any potential interactions that could be dangerous.

If that fails, then ask your pharmacist. Bring the Cysta-Q bottle to your pharmacy, and ask about the herbs in there and how they interact with whatever else you are taking. I know my pharmacist here knows a lot about herbs as well as "regular" drugs and can be quite helpful (and he works at Walgreen's, so you don't need to go to a specialty pharmacy for this service these days).
