Rules for Non-Pet Owners Who Visit and Complain About Our Pets:

1. They live here. You don't.

2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
(That's why they call it "fur"niture.)

3. I like my pets a lot better than most people.

4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who
is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly. Dogs and
cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the
time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car,
don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry
about having to buy the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, and
don't need a gazillion dollars for college - and if they get pregnant, you
can sell the children.

My mother once told me not to trust people that didn't like animals, because animals are very good judges of character.

I have kids but wouldnt trade them for the world
I also have animals two female rat terriers and six cats Yes i said six lol
and a yard full of chickens and i agree all the animals i have is a heck of a lot less trouble and cheaper lol.

I have to agree, I love my children woth my heart and soul, but my 3 dogs are so much easier to please. A milk bone here and there and pet me when I want it is about all it takes

That was a great list! I love my children, but my dog is a huge part of my life! I don't know how I would get through the tough days without him! He's always there for a hug and a kiss and cuddles when I am down. He also knows when I am not feeling well and curls up beside me.

:cat: :cat: :puppy: oh yes...animal lover here too...Hey Dixie I too have 6 cats-yes I said six! 2 Jack Russell Terriers a squirell and other assorted animals. (oh yea, and 2 teenage boys the biggest "animals" of them all but wouldn't trade them either).
