View Full Version : sinking into the black hole
Haven't posted in a very long time. Have had IC for over 37 years now! I seem to be developing other conditions such as GERD, arthritis, Psoriasis, Rosacia, and am always fatigued. I also have the IC "belly". People are always asking me if I am pregnant. Very down today and feeling like no one knows what it's like to go on day after day with pain in your body and always feeling physically and emotionally drained.
Thank you for listening.

Mac,
I'm so sorry you're having such a painful and difficult time with IC and other health conditions. I hope you know you're not alone, and that I think many, if not all of us, have experienced some of what you're going through.
Wishing you some relief from your symptoms! Take care and let us know how you're doing.

BIG HUGS :grouphug:
I know what it is like to go day after day with pain. I think being in pain is enough to drain you both physically and emotionally. Hang in there. Hope you start feeling better very soon.

Mac hang in there, Sorry people comment on your stomach that is so rude.. I'll pray for you and know we are here for you when you need a ear. It seems like that so many illnesses are attached to IC.

:grouphug: Hugs Mac-I hope you are feeling better soon. I have been in a bad flare for about 3 weeks now and exhausted all the time. I too have had IC for a looong time and I agree with you it seems like people don't understand chronic pain. Get some rest and know that you are not alone!

The title "sinking into a black hole" scares me a little. Have you tried antidepressents?
Ginny
I just want to thank everyone for the kind and helpful letters of support. It is encouraging to know that I am not alone in dealing with these chronic conditions.
I am on an antidepressant as well as ditropan xl and elmiron, high blood pressure medication, and cholesterol medication. Some days are just difficult to muttle through.
Thank you all for listening from the heart!
Mac
