Stage 2 surgery update and question I have

Well I had my surgery On Tuesday for the implant and feeling much better...My bottom is sore and can't wait till the incision fully heals...I was wondering to any of those who have the permanent device, I have brusing around the area where the implant is and wondered if that is normal...My bottom is sore and incision looks ok from what I can tell just have this bruising I was curious about...Its so hard to get comfortable being sore especially sleeping...I have slept on my side last few nights but I am a wild sleeper and I feel like I am not getting enough rest cause I can't lay in any position I want...if anyone can get back to me I am curious about the brusing part...Till later

Oh yeah, I had massive bruising for weeks. I'm so lucky that I don't move a lot while sleeping, and I don't hit the implant when I'm on my back, so the incision didn't bother me in that way.

I am glad to hear that you are doing well. I had my permanent implant done on the 17th and I still have bruising at the incision site. I am also still pretty sore. As far as sleeping, I feel as though I haven't had a good nite's sleep in a while. I fell asleep on the couch the other night and I couldn't hardly move the next morning and my hip hasn't felt quite right yet. Good Luck!!
