I noticed with great interest the 5 pounds before Christmas thread. What about an update on that? How did everyone do, did you diet, did you try and exercise more?
How about a new challenge every month where we sign in each week to encourage and congratulate each participant.
So starting on February 1st, I will sign in for all of us. I won't tell you my weight but will tell you if I exercised at least 3 times that week and managed to put down the pint of vanilla ice cream!
So how about it IC Girls and Guys, anyone feel up to the challenge!

Count me in, -I should be ready to go again by Feb 1st. I was chopping wood last week when something in my back popped and I barely made it back to the house. From the level of piercing pain with any movement I'd thought I'd really done some serious damage! These past two days I'm getting around pretty good again, but will have to put off my weight training for a while. -Still hurts to lift anything. All I can think of is gentle walking. Swimming would be great but there are no public or gym pools where I live. Anyone else have some exercise suggestions which are easy on the back?
My personal goal is to look better in my bathing suit by the middle of April when I'll actually be seen in public wearing the darn thing! I'd like to lose another 13 pounds yet.

Count me into....on a 1500 calorie diet now...hopefully I can stick with it. I half to get in better shape. Walking a mile and half at least three times a week, trying to get all I can in while I can..if you know what i mean....trying to beat the flare!!!

I've posted the First of our challenge threads on this board. Everyone who feels well enough please sign in with your goals for this month as well as providing encouragement for those of us trying to meet our goals! Lets get moving!

Hello My goal for this month is to lose 8 lbs and to walk 30 mins at least 4 times a week. We can do it!!
