Been baching it since the 12th. My boyfrield has been away doing a boat show since the 12th, not home until the 25th. The first few days it was wonderful, bed to myself, nobody to pick up after, watch what I wanted on tv, didn't have to cook big meals......... :woohoo:
Now, I feel like my left arm is unattached. Our new kitten has been wandering around meowing since the day he left. Her meow sounds like she has a sinus infection. I'm gonna plug her soon ! I think she is looking for him. The dog has such sad eyes and POUT. Oh my godness. :dizzy:
So far I've made two cuddle quilts, two new beach bags for the upcoming season and a baby blanket. Hum...what next. Today is a snow day and I so wanted to hit the mall ! :cussing:
Can't live with them, can't live without them, pass the beer nuts...George from Cheers

I know what you mean. One weekend, I had to go to Chicago without my husband, and I missed him so much. When I got home, I was so glad!! But the novelty faded as soon as I found a trail of socks and boxers leading up to the hamper, and soda cans not in the recycling bin!!
Don't get me wrong, I love my husband dearly--and since, he has "cleaned up" his behavior. :)

hopefully the 25th will come soon for you. Just makes you treasure what you have and not take each other for granted. My hubby travels alot and I love having the bed to myself but miss him dearly when he is gone.

I know how you feel, while it is nice to get a break, you then think "a break from what" Hubby has been here with me for 7 days and has another 3 off to take care of me during my Interstim surgery. i am so thankkful he is here as I am sore and just feel blah. Take care won't be long now.

I know what you mean. At first the quiet is so nice, then it becomes oppressive.
My partner is the thing that matters most to me, though I take him for granted sometimes. I'd give up anything to not have IC, except for him, I told him that and that THAT was a pretty powerful statement of love!

I'm missing mine too-even though sometimes he is not the greatest with the IC thing. I need his support with this hospital drama that is unfolding--or continuing too. He sent more pics, this time from Baghdad. He looks well. It's amazing how things he wanted me to do all the time for him like scratch his head and back--it drove me nuts--I miss now. Lindsey keeps her mama busy though. Whew. 4 is wearing me out.
Hugs,
Barb

Barb,
Reading your post, and remembering that your husband is fighting for our country, makes me feel sheepish for missing my husband while he and I are apart. You are so strong, and I admire you for holding up so well. Hugs to you and your little girl.
