medication for Urethra Syndrome

Does anyone have any suggestions for medications for Urethra Syndrome? My doctor said there aren't any. I was just curious what you all thought.

Do you mean urethral spams that sharp horrible pain? My dr prescribed a compounded combination she calls tetracaine and it numbs the area plus I take prosed/ds which has four meds in one and I take that every day. It seems to help.

my doctor said that for urethral syndrome you just try the same meds as IC, elmiron, elavil, etc.

and the diet too.
