I do, and it's rough because I do my schooling online...I desperately need a laptop.

My laptop has helped me quit a bit espically when I am in pain .. I have a desktop too and it can get quit uncomfortable I stack the chair with comfy pillows and sometimes heating pad.

Have you tried sitting on a donut cushion?
I use mine all the time, everywhere, and can sit at the computer for longer now.

Know, cause someone told me the donut puts more pressure on your bottom-
But thanks- it works for you, so maybe i will try it i use a foam & down pillow-
it's ok at first but it starts after an hour!
But then again i can sit for hours at my computer! :) LOL

There are special pillows for ICers that are sold at this website in the ICN Shop. I have one I keep in my desk chair and one I keep at the kitchen table. They aren't perfect but help alot. Whenever we go out and I think I might have to sit in a hard wooden chair, I take one of my cushions along. For riding in the car, I found a pillow made of memory foam (very dense foam developed by NASA) helps block engine and road vibrations.

Thanks Annie,
I thought about that memory foam---good idea! That would be good for my long ride home from work!
You have all been so very helpful :grouphug:

I do too. Plus trying to stand up after that is awfully hard.

The donut cushion that I have is a blow up rubber ring, so you can vary the pressure by either putting more or less air in it.

I have two of the cushions available through the ICN --- one at my computer, the other in the car. It really helps. The advantage of those over the "donut" is that the ICN cushion doesn't put any pressure on either my tailbone or the tops of my legs. I sleep on a memory cushioned pillow, but never tried sitting on one.

I'm jealous you can sit for an hr. I can sit for about 20-30 mins. if I'm lucky and that's with TWO cushions. I'm pretty much restricted to the bed or the sofa. Not much else to my world right now. (Sigh)
