Just wanted to let everyone know that I got pictures from my hubby in Iraq, he looks well--like he is gaining weight. They must be feeding him well. I would be in trouble because you can't flush TP over there, it overwhelms the plumming. Could fill a waste basket in no time. Thanks for your prayers and I ask for continued prayers for not only Chris' safety, but all the soldiers in harm's way. Lindsey is back home from a stay at Hotel Grandma. She'll keep me sane.

Hugs,
Barb

Barb,

So glad you received the pictures and hubby is doing ok. Continuing prayers go out for all our military serving and for their families. You, Barb, are one incredible lady. Thank you for your sacrifices. You have been through fire in handling your medical issues and dealing with your husband's deployment. Saying thank you just doesn't seem adequate. Hope you will continue to keep us updated. We do care, are grateful to both you and husband and will continue to keep all who serve in prayer.

Barb...So glad you were able to "see" him. Words are wonderful, but pictures are the best. Please let him know that he is being prayed for and that we are so grateful for his service. Stand proud, Barb. You are married to a genuine hero.

Prayers being sent to you, also. We tend to forget the loved ones that are left behind. You are a hero, also. :kissing: :kissing: :kissing:

I'm so happy that he's doing well and that he's able to stay in contact with you regularly!

I remember when my father when to Vietnam, we used to make those reel-to-reel tapes for him, and he'd send tapes back home to us, too, so we could hear his voice because I guess it was pretty much impossible for him to phone home. And there were always lots of letters of course. I'm glad that communications have improved since that time.

Blessings, Gentle
