Hi all, my stage 2 is tomarrow and I can't wait, a little anxious as I was for the stage 1 also. I have had such luck with this and some much relief as far as voiding goes. I have even had luck with the voiding pain I use to have, it is minimal if not scarce. My nights are more restful and I feel like a much better person just getting some rest again. I will keep you posted as to how this one goes.

Leslie, my plan was to call you this morning before you left to go to the hospital.. I didn't get up on time.. (I got your pm).. I am thinking of you and sending lots and lots of hugs..... I know the interstim has made a great difference in your life. I am so happy for you....
If I had known that I would have gotten the relief that I have gotten from the interstim, before wasting money on many, many rx's I would have gotten my interstim first. I know it should be your last option... but, it sure fire would be my first if I had to do this all again...
hugs
Cindy

I am just wondering, and don't take this the wrong way, if Elmiron had worked for you, would you have gone through with the InterStim? I feel very strongly in my success of the InterStim--but I don't know that I would have gone through with this if Elmiron or Elavil or Atarax or DMSO, etc. had all worked for me.

The effects of an InterStim gone wrong are far more dangerous than a prescription that doesn't work. Don't get me wrong--I love the success I have enjoyed from my successful treatment of InterStim...but I don't think that I would have jumped to have this done if it were offered to me right away.

I talked to Leslie earlier in the evening(she called to check on me, what a sweetie) and while it was painful she is doing ok. Sounded pretty good. A little Morphine and some Percocets and she was planning on having a bonding session with her bed.

Hugs,
Barb
