View Full Version : Pain with exercise

I have found so far that any exercise, including walking and yoga, increases my pain. My belly swells up and I feel like organs are popping. Anyone else have this problem, and any advice?

I have been dealing with these same issues. I found that swimming or riding the stationary bikes at my gym have helped a lot. I am able to exercise but I am not miserable afterwards. Start out slow and build yourself up. Good luck!

I second the swimming, but it is diff. for everyone, the chlorine irritates a lot of people. I swam daily over the summer and it relieved my stress as well as toned me up! If it does not bother you, try it out, but I would be careful of public pools, they are just loaded with chemicals! Good luck!

The only thing I can think of is to start out slowly and gradually work up to wherever your comfort level will be. If I don't get enough exercise for a while, I have to start all over and build up to it again. Walking is best for me.

Swimming is out due to the irritation, so it looks like gentle walking might be all for a while, unless anyone else has some ideas. Thanks, guys.
