Hello all,
I am went to have my first interstim treatment today. It was one of the strangest things i have ever experienced. But Any way it didn'thurt to much while they were doing it but it did hurt alot about 3 hours later. Now I am in alot of pain and I am taking my vicodin for pain. I am just curious if it should hurt this bad?
Thanks for listening.

What kind of treatment did you have? Did you have the first stage trial surgery done? Did you have the actually implantation done? Or did you have some reprogramming done. If you had reprogramming done I have never had intense pain AFTER having that done...Best of luck controlling the pain

What is a Interstim treatment? Or was it your trial your speaking of. If it is the trial you will hurt some for awhile. Take care.

i went into the dr and they inserted a proble into my vagina and sent electric wave though my pelvis. The doctor's office called it interstim but mybe it was actually something else. I have not had anyhing surgically implanted in me or anything. So i am not sure. Sorry for the confusion.

You may be talking about E-stim....I first starting using it with my PT for PFD....I also rented a machine and was doing it twice a day. I helped with the frequency...I do remember at the beginning it hurting after...It got easier with time...At first I was only able to do it for a few minutes and then as time went by I was able to do it for almost 20...
Good Luck!

Sounds like a promising treatment, I hope it helps you to be much more comfortable!
