Symptoms of IC?

:hmm: Hi, my daughter has been in pain almost a year now! Does anyone else with IC have fatigue, and painful joints, along with the stomach and pelvic pain? She also complains of her legs hurting. She doesn't have a diagnosis of IC yet, but has seen a urologist..............HELP!!............Donna

Without too much more info-I would suggest she get and read a copy of Dr. Moldwin's book-The Interstial Survival Guide...it will r/o symptoms etc and give you/her lots of infoon things to discuss with the Dr. I read this cover to cover prior to being dxd and I think because of it, it helped me convey what was and wasn't going on with my body...the book is available in the main section on the site and the link is:http://icnshop.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl?command=goto&pid=icsg

Have your daughter go through all of this and if she is younger, you can read it as well. Good luck with answers, it is not fun to be suffering and especially to not know the reasons. All of the above will give you a better idea of Diagnostic tests and options, should they come up in coversation.

I would defiantely talk to her doctor to see whats going on.Take a look at the handbook if you have not already. It has alot of information.I I hope your able to get some answers soon,
