I really hate to feel so down when my life was starting to seem to be getting better. My entire house has had or does have the stomach virus right now. I am unable to take my 6 month old to the ER for some fluids and my hubby remained clueless to come home and help me out. So my mother took him and it has been 4 1/2 hours no news in 3 hours. i am about to get in the car and go myself flu or no flu. They were having a hard time getting a IV in the baby and I feel helpless rightnow. I have felt like a complete boob becasue I can't be super mom right now and I have a hard time relenting to help with my children. I guess because I do it all the time myself anyway that i never ask anyone for help. I want to wring hubby's neck right now, he is lucky he decided to stay at work. Sorry to cry the blues to you, but no one else is here to hear me.

I wish I could give you hug, what a time you are having. You said your mother just took your 6m old what better hands to be in then that! They are going to be giving the baby fluids which is great he/she will be feeling better soon. You can't do everything and be everyone when you are sick. Take care of yourself and lean on MOM for awhile, you know she'll take care of your little sick one.

Thanks, I finally got a hold of my mom at the ER and they were unable to get an IV started, they are still observing him and the butt head hubby came home from work and actually ask "if" he should go over to the ER. What the hel* kinda of moronic question is that. he just called and they are on there way home with him said it was viral and sent him home on phenegran suppositories, which his physician doesn't like to use on babies that young. GRRRRR i wish I could have been there to get more answers.

One good thing is that the suppositories should help with the baby's vomiting so there will be a chance to get some liquids in that will stay. I hope everyone in your family is well soon.

Gentle hugs,
Donna

Oh, it is sooooooooo hard to be sick and have sick kids, too. :( It's hard enough when we are sick by ourselves, but when everyone else feels crummy it is 10 times worse. I hope that flu bug leaves and stays away for a long time!!!! :kissing:

"It's so hard to be sick and have sick kids too" I totally agree. I have a breakdown when my daughter gets sick- I can handle me being sick but not her. She is 3 now and when she was a baby it was so much worse because you worry so much when they are so little!!!

Hubbys are just utter morons some times- sorry, but it's true.

I hope you and your family are feeling much much better now!!!!!
