I just had mine done last Tuesday and was freaked out also, and actually it was so easy, and I didn;t even need any pain meds after surgery and had a 2 hour ride home. It hurts but not a very painful hurt. I had more pain with a flare then this. I was also on my period at the time of the surgery. The only time I have taken pain meds this weeks this week was when I had the flu and my whole body ached, and I over did it around the house. Take care and don't fret about it, it really is a peace of cake.

**giggles** the worst part of my trail was.... getting 2 black lab puppies 2 days after the stage was put in.. and having to sit on my hip... no real pain just very uncomfortable for a few days... not to mention having wires hanging out while trying to house break 2 pups with no fenced in yard....
I even drove 3 days later...

Pre-trial is the test implant done to see if the Interstim is an option that will work for you. it is a test stimulator that you wear for 7-14 days to see what results you get. After this test, and all goes well, your permanent implant is done and life goes on.

:grouphug: Big support hug coming your way. I had great success with my frequency/urgency went from 50-60 times per day to 10-12 sometimes a little more during a flare and sometimes even less so this is definately working for me. I have been thru the trial and the permanent implant surgery so if you have any questions, please feel free to send me PM and I'll try to answer any questions you might have. Surgery affects everyone differently for me it was painful and I had to use my prescribed pain meds for others it's been a walk in the park. I hope you have great success and all that you're hoping for comes through with this.
 Sending you a cyber angel to watch over you during surgery.
Much support,
Tracy K.

My pre-trail innerstem went great!!!!! I got home yesterday afternoon around 3:00. I don't hardly remember anything in the operating room except for one time when they brought me too to ask me if and when I could feel this or that and where at. I can feel the sensation up in my vagina on the right side, especailly when I move I certain way. The best way I can describe it is how you feel when you put in a tampon in the wrong way and it pokes at you. I am very sore. As far as going to the bathroom====this is the first time in a long time that I can honestly say that My bladder felt like it actually empties when I go. I am still kinda mumb on the right side but my doc's nurse said that was normal and it would go away. They had to poke on me alot and that is one reason I am so sore. I am just taking it easy and letting my family take care of me. I have to go the doc. Friday morning and my permanent one is scheduled for Monday the 17th. Anyone who has any questions can feel free to PM me!!
Hugs to all--Tami
