Greetings everyone! :::as she smiles and waves from her office in the Wine Country of California::
It's a Saturday afternoon and I'm finally feeling reasonably good. It's been a long holiday season for me. After almost four weeks of the worst respiratory flu of my life, including a few visits to my local urgent care center and missing all of our family holiday events, I seem to be over the worst of it. Still can't talk on the phone much without coughing but, hey, I can't complain. I'm alive. There were a couple of days there where I was sure that I was on the track to pneumonia. Thankfully, some mega antibiotics helped stop that in it's tracks. Thank god! But it really took a toll on my throat. The coughing has irritated my voice box badly.
So, I'm a month behind in everything... including finishing up our latest newsletter. I just want to say thank you for your get well wishes.... and for your patience. Things are finally looking up :::as she crosses her fingers:::
I hope to be working next week.... but will be taking it slowly. I can't wait to actually go out and see a movie or something! It's been a looong looong few weeks.
